Stephen Fenske


Stephen F. Fenske was born on April 11, 1951, in the city of Berea, Ohio. He is a graduate of Berea High 

School (1969). He holds an associate's degree from 

Treasure Valley Community College (1981) and a 

Bachelorettes Degree from Eastern Oregon University (1996). 

Stephen and his wife Linda have been married for over 55 years, and they are the proud parents of three adult children and six grandchildren. 

Stephen has served in two branches of the military. He joined the United States Air Force in (1969-1975) and served overseas, during the Vietnam War, for a period of one year. He left the Air Force after his six-year commitment, rising to the rank of SSgt., to spend more time with his wife and children. He continued his commitment to his country by serving both Oregon and Idaho's Army National Guard. He served over a twenty-year span, rising to the rank of Major, before 

retiring. 

Stephen is the CEO and President of the non-profit teen leadership organization known as Arrow-Heart Adventure Camps and has been for over a decade. He is also the Chairman of the Washington County Veteran's organization. Stephen is a retired police officer from the city of Weiser and has dedicated the past 20 years in support of public safety, within his 

community. 

Stephen is a newly elected Weiser City Council member, who believes strongly in 

teamwork, clear communication, and practical problem-solving. His experience in working alongside police, fire, and emergency service agencies, will help him focus on building strong partnerships, to assist our community, in responding effectively and safely when it matters most. 

Above all, Stephen is committed to public service and takes pride in supporting the people and organizations that keep communities running, safe, and prepared for the future.
